“It’s an exciting day for us here at Lavasoft. And, we think it will be for gamers around the world once they get wind of this news,” proclaims Lavasoft’s official website. The news? The release of Ad-Aware Game Edition. This new program offers gamer protection from viruses, trojans, and other nasty bugs that can steal your information, passwords, and account information while you play online games. Lavasoft boasts that while other programs stop working while you play games, Ad-Aware Game Edition is created specifically to protect your virtual goods from being stolen and sold for real money. On top of that is Lavasoft’s new companion gaming site that just went live. Even if I don’t plan on getting this, it’s nice to see that gamers are being recognized more and more as a large enough audience to address.
