Many of you probably have heard of the game Little Big Planet before, commonly referred to as LBP, for the PS3. It is a game known for its huge and limitless possibilities of editing and creating power, its community, and simple yet addicting gameplay. Well, PSP owners wait no further, Little Big Planet is going to have a version on the PSP, and although there wasn’t many reviews released on this title previously, released are a more in depth description of what to expect when this game launches.
With 30 new developer made levels(located in seven different locations - from Australia to the Orient), this game will be hard to disappoint. The graphics, although less detailed than the PS3 version, are not something to be belittled, and I assure you are still amazing. The game play is still the same, and you get basically all the same features of the PS3 version, including the Popit menu, and the ability to create levels and publish them yourself. The only downside is that LBP on the PSP will be a single player game, which means no player friends like in the PS3 version.
Overall, I didn’t think the producers would be able to fit all the features of the original game into the hand held version, But this on-the-go version seems promising, and will leave you with everything you would expect from the PS3 title. Check out the trailer below: this game shows no lacking aspect in my opinion, and the review sounds like it will deliver.
Little Big Planet for the PSP is planning to release on November 17, 2009.
Not as graphically orgasmic as the PS3 version but hey, it’s better than nothing. Only single-player? ![]()
Thumbs up for the portability as well. ![]()
