Making the change from a trusted and cost effective medium to a new and much more expensive form of video storage is not something alot of people are thinking of with the state of things economically. With Blu-ray players finally coming down in price, it looks like we’re going to see some pretty interesting incentives from companies to get consumers to make that change.
“District 9″ is releasing December 22nd, and if you decide to make the change; just make sure you have a Playstation 3. The announcement broke a few months ago that the Blu-ray format of this movie was going to come with something a little extra packed on the second disc, and it looks like everybody will finally have the opportunity to not only take a quick peek into the new chapter of the “God Of War” franchise, but to play a snippet at that.
Hopefully other distributors will see this incentive deal and run with it, it really will make us feel like we’re getting a little bit more for our moneys worth. While this information has been available for a bit, I figured I would drop this just to remind you that this is a bit of a steal.
The Blu-ray format of this film is on sale for $17.99 on Amazon.com; click here to get directed to the page.
Cheers Sony, thanks for the awesome Christmas present!
