In the first Mass Effect, I hardly ever used any biotic or electronic skills. Why bother? I killed everything in one or two hits with either a shotgun or sniper rifle. This is one thing I’m glad they’re addressing for Mass Effect 2. The long cool down times just made those skills really unappealing to me but apparently you are able to clear the game without firing a single shot in Mass Effect 2. All those floating bodies for your teammates to pick off seems like something fun to do, and this time you can do it consistently. I’m definitely going to try biotics once the game comes out since it’s something I didn’t really explore in the first game.
