Word has it that Darksiders, a video game that isn’t even out yet, might be made into a movie and/or a comic book series in the future. According to a post by VG247, Hollywood has already contacted the THQ about exploring different mediums for Darksiders. And it’s no wonder - the game looks like it will be one epic adventure. I can definitely see it as a comic book - I would probably enjoy that even more than the game itself. As a movie though? I don’t know. Games these days are so movie like, all they would have to do is put all the cutscenes together, add content in between, and there you have it. I wouldn’t want to see Darksiders butchered with real people the way many video games have in the past.

The story, in a nutshell - the Apocalypse has had a premature beginning, one of the horsemen of the Apocalypse, War, was blamed… and now he has to clear his name, figure out what actually happened, and make everything right again. Can you see it? War as the newest superhero. Forget Spidey, Batman, Night Owl… you don’t mess with this guy.
