With Bioshock 2, developers at Irrational Games wanted to step up their combat formula by allowing users to wield dual weapons. Players no longer have to swap between plasmids and firearms because Big Daddies can multitask allowing them to deploy both simultaneously. There are over 80 different combinations possible through mixing the 10 plasmids with the 8 firearms. Which marriage of plasmid and gun is your favorite?
I’d have to go with Ice Blast and Shotgun. I love stopping an enemy in its tracks before blowing them to bits with an exploding shot of Phosphorus Buck! It’s the perfect union of ice and fire. Due to the long reload time of the shotgun the only chance I get to use it is when an enemy is frozen solid otherwise the Splicers are leaping around to quickly for me to catch with a spray of buckshot. I think I love this combo more because I rarely get to use it, but when I do, look out Splicers!
