In the largest update ever to grace Sony’s virtual world Home, gamers get the chance to hang out in 2 new game spaces featuring MotorStorm and LocoRoco, decorate 2 new personal spaces around LocoRoco and PlanetLand, and purchase Star Wars branded merchandise in the Mall’s brand new LucasArts store. For all the details, including tons of pictures and videos slam that More button.

First up is the MotorStorm Super Carrier, or party boat as I like to call it! This rave-tastic game space gives gear heads a place to hang out, challenge each other in multiplayer matches, and dance the night away with an interactive DJ after a gratifying win.

But the MotorStorm party boat isn’t the only Home vessel to be popping Champaign. The LocoRoco Mui Mui King Passenger Boat has players partying it up with tons of Pickorie collecting mini-games. If the Mui Mui King Passenger Boat isn’t enough LocoRoco for you, then LocoIsland will satisfy even the most die-hard fan of the series. LocoIsland gives it’s owners complete control over an entire Island! Invite your friends over for rooftop dance parties, play mini-games, or just play in the sand with you.

PlanetLand is a personal space that literally out of this world. Thought having your own private LocoRoco Island was cool? How about having your own outer world planet complete with a man eating guard-plant! This cosmo crash pad looks like it was ripped right out of the Star Wars series with its giant moon looming in the background, futuristic architecture, and the sound of hover cars buzzing over head.

If you want to look the part in your new Sci-Fi retreat you are going to want to head over the the newly operational LucasArts shop in the mall. What goes better with futuristic decor than an Imperior Officer uniform. If your feeling adventurous you may want to snag an Indiana Jones’ hat and whip to fend off unwanted guests.

Playstation Home may have been a bore-fest in the past but with its constant updates, new additions, and ongoing special events it’s quickly growing the social network that Sony promised us. If you haven’t check out Home in a while, be sure to drop by some time soon to check out what you’re missing.
