It appears that last night a “2KY” bug has brought older model PS3s to a halt. The 8001050F error code is not allowing users to sign in to PSN, corrupting Trophy information, and setting back the system clock to 12/31/1999. This bug is only affecting non-Slim models, so new adaptors are immune. The same can not be said for developer consoles that are now unable to continue work creating and testing their games. Sony is hard at work on bringing this to an end.

So if you turn on your PS3.. your trophies are gone :S

I haven’t touched my PS3 for a month raspberry

From IGN:
DO NOT TURN ON YOUR PS3

I have a fat PS3. What should I do now?
Don’t turn it on. Sony’s asking you to keep it turned off until they have a fix in place.

When will it be fixed?
We don’t know yet. Sony tells us that its engineers are working on it and that they hope to have the issue fixed in the next 24 hours (Tuesday morning).

I haven’t turned on my ps3 since friday, but I didn’t check anything yet.
