Wish the Nintendo Power Glove stuck around? Into Warcraft III: DotA? Then do I got a treat for you! Taken directly from their website, The Peregrine is “Simpler, faster, and deadlier than any gaming keyboard. Ditch the keys. Own the glove. Own the game.” What this new hip, gaming glove is trying to do is find a replacement for the keyboard in MMO and RTS PC games where one could end up having to memorize over 30 hotkeys. The glove instead lets you map these hot keys to specific points on your hand so you don’t need to worry too much about keyboard shortcuts or awkward hand stretches.
I could attempt to explain the cool factors of the Peregrine, but instead, the developers of the product put together a cool demonstration video that introduces the basics of the glove and also how it works with Warcraft III.
Pretty cool right? The best part is you can use it in conjunction with the keyboard because of the finely crafted military grade material form fits to your hand and acts as if it is a second skin. The Peregrine is not out on shelves just yet, but you can preorder this expensive gaming accessory for $150 on their website. I hope this is as good as it sounds, and it doesn’t tank as hard as The Wizard’s most famous prop:
