Before we say anything more, I don’t want you, the beautiful Wirebotian, to confuse “Shank,” the 2D artsy sidescrolling action game, with “Deathspank,” Ron Gilbert’s newest action RPG adventure combo. Now that we are clear to which ridiculously titled game we are referring to here, I can get with informing you of the hottest looking games to come to the Arcade.

Shank takes what was so great about all the 2D sidescrolling action games of our time, such as Metal Slug and Alien Hominoid, and coats the entire thing in blood. The veracity that comes out of the trailer alone is enough to make me set aside how ever many points this release will be. Talk about character animations and fluidity. Check out the trailer for a good spank. I mean, shank.
