Are you still debating over which console to pick up Final Fantasy XIII for? If you own both console the game is releasing on you are better off picking it up on the PS3. Not only because you won’t have to swap discs or because of the systems history with the playstation brand, but for its exclusive access to Final Fantasy XIV bonuses and the chance to join its beta.

Early purchasers of Final Fantasy XIII on the PS3 will be given a download code that will unlock an exclusive in-game item in Final Fantasy XIV. Final Fantasy XIV is exclusive to the PS3 and PC and journeys back into the realm of MMOs. Final Fantasy tried its hand in the MMO market in Final Fantasy XI and was well received.

So when you pick up your copy of Final Fantasy XIII for your PS3 make sure you enter the code online for your exclusive in-game item, as well as a chance to participate in the games beta launching later this year.
