Square-Enix is reporting that 5 million copies of Final Fantasy XIII have been shipped around the world. 2 million were dedicated to Japan, while the remaining 3 million were shipped to other countries around the world. Square went even further with their bragging by announcing that over 96 million copies of the Final Fantasy franchise have been shipped around the globe.

I know I’ve helped inflate that total by purchasing every new Final Fantasy title in existence, including the countless ports and re-releases I’ve picked up along the way.
