Harmonix has officially announced that Green Day will be the next artist to receive the Rock Band treatment. Green Day: Rock Band will hit all platforms on June 8th. The full details can be found after the jump.

Green Day: Rock Band will retail for $60 on PS3 and Xbox 360, $50 on Wii, and $70 for a special edition version. The special addition will come with an export key ($10 value), a 6 song DLC pack ($12 value), and special packaging.

All 47 songs work with Rock Band, Rock Band 2, and the recently announced Rock Band 3. Each track supports the three-part vocal harmonies that until now, were only available for Beatles: Rock Band tracks.
