While on my way to squirt the mysterious tree, I came across a rather interesting area called the Pokeathlon Dome. It was a huge dome-shaped building with grand lights and Poke Athletes all around. I decided to take a little breather from my journey and try my hand at competing in some of the games that the Dome had to offer.

The desk attendant explained to me that there are five categories of games that you can choose to compete in. They are Speed, Power, Skill, Stamina, and Jump. I decided to give them all a try, but before I could start, Whitney caught up with me to give me a jersey to change into when I competed.

Each time, I chose a team of three Pokemon to compete with (each Pokemon has different “stats” indicated by the number of stars next to each attribute). There were various events that I competed in, and they allowed me to bond more with the Pokemon that are in my PC (you can choose from both your party and PC Pokemon to compete).

Overall, the games were fun, and both my Pokemon and I enjoyed the experience (games are played using the stylus). I even won points that I could spend to buy things (different items are available for purchase with “athlete points” each day of the week).
