The Call of Duty Endowment, otherwise known as CODE, is a non-profit organization that helps veterans transition from the line of duty to a normal civilian life and work outside of the military.

The organization recently awarded the Navy with $180,000 worth of Modern Warfare 2 games (about 3,000 copies). The units were sent to more than 300 ships and submarines as well as other Navy facilities around the world.

“Not only is it important to raise awareness of the issue of veterans’ unemployment, it is also really cool to bring a game to service members and let them have some fun after spending so much time serving their country,” said actor Rob Corddry, who was present at one of the events.
