The sales numbers are in and putting shame to Xbox 360 loyalists everywhere with Final Fantasy XIII selling nearly double the amount of copies on the PS3.
Of the 1.3 million copies sold, 828,200 units were purchased for Sony’s console. 494,300 units landed in a Xbox 360. Now ~500,000 copies isn’t anything to be ashamed of, but it does serve as another check on Sony fanboy checklists.
My question is, how many of those 500,000 would have purchased a PS3 if the game had been a Sony exclusive like it was originally planned? Maybe not as many, but I’m sure a good serving of them would have.
