We told you it was coming! And to think you doubted us even for a moment! It’s official, Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is on its way to consoles around the world sometime in the near future. Catch the trailer below.

If you want all the juicy details we spilled for you a few days ago, go and read this blog right here.

So the trailer is pretty sweet. Yeah, emphasis on pretty because it could have been so much better. It was rumored that the art direction was in vein of Street Fighter IV’s 2.5D, but the video shows more of a 3D take, something that I do not want any part of. 2.5D is great, it gives some depth to the characters without taking away the classic feel of a 2D fighter, but 3D gives the game an entirely different feel. But here’s to hoping that the footage was like that for the trailer only.

Another annoying thing, I know I’m on a rant today, is the “Fate of Two Worlds” subtitle. Now that’s just completely and utterly unnecessarily. All we need is Marvel vs. Capcom 3, nothing else. We can infer that 2 worlds are colliding by the fact that the game is titled Marvel vs. Capcom. You wouldn’t know it from sitting in on a Call of Duty multiplayer match, but we’re not complete idiots, we can get the gist of things with having it spelled out.

If there are any fans of the hit Starz television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand you feel my pain. Why is the “Blood and Sand” necessary? It’s not, it’s pointless and has no reason to be there. To go even further, if the subtitle wanted to accurately portray what the show is all about it should be something like, Spartacus: “Slow motion slayings and relentless bombarding of female anatomy”
