Oh that’s right. You are a Ninja. Your enemies? Fruit. I kind of wish I was kidding and kind of love it at the same time.

Actually, I really love it. It is everything you would want in a 99cent iPhone game: It’s quirky, fun, cheap and satisfying. This isn’t Final Fantasy for the iPhone, but sometimes lack of depth is exactly what you need when you have 5 minutes to kill before class.

Basically the entire game is you swiping your finger across the screen to attack fruit that are launched into the air. The more fruit you slice, the higher your score becomes. Obviously the longer you go, the faster the fruit launches. There are also bombs that when swiped will end your game immediately. Miss three regular fruit pieces and its game over.

That’s it! Extremely simple, but extremely satisfying. The mechanics and swipe response is spot on, and it really feels good to kick the crap out of the fruit. The cool part is that there are leader boards built into the game, so you can rank your scores against friends and other fruit assassins.
