I never understood the whole “playing digitized versions board games” thing. Half the fun of playing Scrabble or Risk was the banter and social interaction that would come out of the actual presence of people. When you make a game that traditionally is played in a room full of nerds and twist it into a videogame, that social fun is long gone. To compensate and make these games more exciting, developers have tried over and over again to utilize the digital interface. Unfortunately, they just keep on failing! More »

These Nike’s are so fly they may actually make up for all the Iron Man games that have crashed and burned lately. War Machine fans won’t be let down either. Come check out our gallery below. More »

Wirebotians, I can’t tell you how much this webcomic speaks to me. The Horror that is the overwhelming feeling of feeling like you need to play (or at least get a decent enough taste) of every big title game to come out through the years lives inside of me. I think about how long it will take me to complete Fallout 3 and I start to get anxiety. I know it is absolutely counter productive to the whole reason of playing video games, but really, why do they have to make games so long!? More »

Yes, it is a video game running on the coattails of the scary “The Ring” girl image, but F.E.A.R has successfully delivered a decently solid experience through all its iterations to this day. Not the most original or innovative First Person Shooter, sure, but sometimes all you need is heavy action, bullet time, and some scary elements to give gamers a good time. F.E.A.R 3 looks to do exactly that and more. More »

Adult Swim is known for its wildly popular, and often ridiculous, flash games. A bunch of these titles have been ported over to Apple’s iPhone/iPod Touch already (Amateur Surgeon, 5 Minutes to Kill (Yourself), My Lil’ Bastard), but they are nothing like what is about to hit the App Store with Robot Unicorn Attack. They say that, “competition fuels everything,” but when your competition is Uncharted 2, God of War III, and your very own Killzone 2, how are you able to rise above? Guerilla Games is minimizing its code, adding brutal melees, improving its cover system, throwing in jet packs, and let’s not forget it has the option to play in full 3D in hopes to be the best looking console game on the market. Watch the in-depth interview with Killzone 3’s Senior Producer after the jump. More »

We’ve seen some pretty interesting uses of the iPhone with an iPad. iPhones have been paired with iPads running Scrabble as letter racks and iCopter 2 used the iPhone to control an in game helicopter on an iPad, but the way SNES HD pair both devices takes the cake. By pairing your iPhone with your iPad you can play any emulated SNES game using the iPhone as the controller. More »
