On April 20th, Square Enix released Chaos Rings for iPhones and iPod Touches all over the world, and it looks like we’ll be seeing the game on the iPad sometime in the future! The release of the exclusive RPG was met by an extremely warm reception, as producer Takehiro Ando stated in a Facebook post only two days after the game’s release that “CHAOS RINGS became the top grossing app in nine countries, including US and Japan!” Additionally, Ando wrote:

I was moved to try CHAOS RINGS HD on iPad..
Creators in Media Vision are so nice and clever that actually the game launched and moved!
It was so exciting and impressive, especially battle scenes!
Of course it needs many revising and adjustments, but now I seriously think CHAOS RINGS HD is quite a good idea, if CHAOS RINGS is appreciated.

Although there’s no planned release date, this must be exciting news for iPad owners. Chaos Rings already looks stunning on the iPhone and iPod Touch. Here’s a picture for proof:

I can’t even imagine how lovely the graphics will look in HD. It makes me want to get an iPad. Not to mention, the game itself sounds amazing. I may have just discovered its existence yesterday, but I can already tell that I’ll be spending lots of time during the next week or so playing it.

Be sure to look out for future announcements, iPad owners! This is something you should definitely be looking forward to!
