Choose the Next Band Featured in Rock Band

Harmonix is taking it to the streets and asking its users which band you would like to see grace the cover of the next dedicated Rock Band game. There is no guarantee that any of our suggestions will ever get the plastic guitar treatment, but the more requests they receive, the more likely it will happen. Can’t think of any bands deserving the honor? We have a few suggestions below.

In order for a band to realistically have a shot at getting its own dedicated Rock Band title they must meet a set of standards. The band must have a popular enough following to generate sales. They must have multiple hit records with numerous hit singles. If they some how manage to reach those high standards they then must be able to fit into the broad spectrum of what is considered “rock” music. Looking at Harmonix’s musical picking thus far reveals that metal, punk, alternative, grunge, and even some pop fit into this genre.

Here are a few suggestions that we think might have a chance at coming to fruition:
+ Sublime
+ Red Hot Chili Peppers
+ Nirvana
+ The Clash
+ Ramones
+ Led Zeppelin
+ Guns N’ Roses
+ The Rolling Stones
