VG247 is reporting that they have insider information confirming that Ico and Shadow of the Colossus will be the next pair of PS2 games to get re-released to Blu-Ray in HD.

Soon after the God of War Collection was released rumors started spreading on which games would get a facelift next. The most resounding rumoring being that it was Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. With series creator Fumito Ueda working furiously on The Last Guardian it makes logical sense that his previous games would be next on Sony’s re-release list. The popular demand, cult following, and scarcity of these PS2 titles also adds to the probability.

Now that we know Ico and Shadow of the Colossus are the next HD collection to be released and that Sony plans on making re-releases a continual project, what PS2 classics are you dying to see on Blu-Ray?
