Next Generation magazine boasts a world exclusive reveal of Unreal in 1997 and assures its readers that these are authentic in-game screen shots. Oh, how the times have changed!

I can’t believe that there is only a 10 year gap between this screen shot and now. With such a huge advancement in graphics since the release of Unreal I can’t even begin to imagine what our games are going to look like in the future. 1080p, HDMI and Blu-Ray weren’t even part of our vocabularies up until a few years back. Can you imagine a world of gaming that exceeds 1080p? I know I can’t?
