Nintendo has released the official North American debut trailer for Dragon Quest IX. Watch and discuss after the jump.

If games can look this pretty on the Nintendo DSi imagine how games are going to look on the 3DS. This is the first time we have gotten a glimpse of actual gameplay footage and I’m bewildered over the animations they got going on this one.

What are your thoughts? Is this the best looking portable Dragon Quest game to date? Will you be pre-ordering?

ohh seems epic! the animations are good but i have never played the other ones.


so pretty - the music makes it sound so epic lol
i’d say yes that it is the best-looking one...only because i haven’t been able to play any past ones haha
but oh so cute animations :] draws me in
