Yesterday marked a month that Super Mario Galaxy 2 has been out, and Nintendo revealed on their Investor Relations site (via G4), that the sequel has reached 900,000 units sold in the US alone. Unfortunately, I am not one of those 900,000, but it’s nice to know the game is doing well. Also, as of last month, the original Super Mario Galaxy has sold 8.84 million copies worldwide.
Other big sellers include New Super Mario Bros. Wii, which Nintendo called the “best selling game so far in 2010,” (that one, I did buy) and Wii Sports Resort. They are “two of only four titles which has sold more than a million units from January through April according to NPD.”
