In customary VALVe fashion, Portal 2 receives its first batch of anticipatory vignettes showcasing the newest characters, story and gameplay mechanics. This week we meet the smart alec Wheatly and are introduced to two new gameplay mechanics: Excursion Funnels and Aerial Faith Plates.

I wasn’t sure if Portal 2 would capture the essence or maintain the freshness of the original, but from the looks of these videos we’re in for one hell of a ride that is every bit as inventive as its predecessor.
