MetaCritic reveals its midyear report on 2010’s best and worst reviewed games. Come check out the facts and figures below. You may be surprised with what you find.

The top 5 best reviewed games across all platforms are both predictable and shocking. Tied for the #1 position is Mass Effect 2 and Red Dead Redemption, both with an average of 95. Not so surprising. But seeing Bayonetta and Bioshock 2 take the #4 and #5 positions are.

I’m not going to walk you through each and every category because I think the charts speak for themselves, but as you peruse the statistics let us know your opinions on what you’ve played this year in the comment section below. Did anything you really enjoyed not make the list?

It makes me want to play Bayonetta!!!~~ BioShock 2 seems interesting too!!


Im not so into video games too much but it’s fun!


even though i haven’t played any of the number one titles - i still know what they are lol
haha - i feel like having a catch up game day now to see if i’d like them though


the only games I am familiar with is Street Fighter and Mario Galaxy 2 haha
they must be super fun… I wanna play them now >__<
