Visceral Games plans the most epic of teases with its release of Dead Space Ignition, an interactive mini-game filled comic book that covers the events that unfold after the original game and before 2011’s Dead Space 2. It’s been a few years since we’ve had fresh Dead Space content and I was finally able to sleep with the lights off, but that’s all about to change.
Dead Space Ignition is being worked on by Visceral Games and Anthony Johnston, creator of the Dead Space comic published by Image, and features “satisfying arcade experience that will challenge players with puzzles and twitch gameplay,” that “combines an interactive comic-style story with three unique hacking mini games; Hardware Crack, Trace Route and System Override.”
Dead Space 2 doesn’t get released until January 2011 so it’s lucky for us that this downloadable prequel is slated for a Fall release on PSN and Xbox Live.
