Every few months Greenpeace comes out with a report on how green (or not) the top electronics companies are operating. Earlier this year– May to be exact, Sony came out above the other Console manufacturers and it looks like they are trying to remain on top once again in the October report. Sony’s grade received was 5.1/10, which is a .2 rise from May 2010. Unfortunately for Microsoft and Nintendo, these two remain at the bottom with a score of 1.9. and 1.8 respectively. Yeowch! maybe these two can learn a think or two about being more eco-friendly from Sony before the next report comes out.
