Don’t be fooled, it’s not from Sony or Microsoft. Here comes a brand new 3D smartphone, the Sharp Galapagos. And beware Nintendo, its getting a handful of games.

The Sharp Galapagos is powered by Android with a 3.8 inch glasses-free 3D screen, 512MB on-board memory and seven promised games: horror game Resident Evil: Degeneration (the game, not movie), sports game Mobile Powerful Pro Baseball 3D, platformer Mega-Man, rhythm based game Taiko no Tatsujin, shooter SILPHEED Alternative, another platformer Ghost ‘n Goblins: Gold Knights and another horror game Reikai Denwa.

Although in terms of tech specs it sounds pretty weak, it’s still amongst the first handheld/mobile systems that have guaranteed 3D content. It seems that the 3DS isn’t going to be alone in the 3D market.
