Alright, after a grudging two hours of questioning the morality and ethics of the gamers, I’ve advanced to level 17. Seriously, in World of Warcraft Cataclysm, sometimes gamers just don’t have the manners (or honour if you want to call it) in battle. So don’t steal kills guys! More »

Leave it to Call of Duty: Black Ops to inspire the most graphic LEGO stop-motion video I’ve ever seen. I’m not kidding - it’s REALLY graphic, considering they’re supposed to be little pieces of plastic. If this were a movie, I’d almost give an R rating. Almost. But if you ignore the blood splattering everywhere, the video is really well made. I wonder how long it took to make it. Anyways, enjoy the LEGO CoD video below, at your own discretion! More »

The plane was painted for a promo of the new StarCraft II game, and it really looks impressive. Check out the video below to see footage of the plane being painted. More »

Alright, one World of Warcraft: Cataclysm level in 45 minutes! (I am level 14 now) Pretty sweet in my opinion. In fact, I wasn’t expecting to get that much done today. I finished roughly 5 quests all together, while killing a lot of the monsters. The only thing that stood in my way was a Worgen player… and the occasional Vile Terror elite monster that would kill me. More »

Rovio’s ever so popular game Angry Birds has got many hooked. Rather then focusing on their graphics, Angry Birds’ addictive game-play is enough for gamers. Penny Design’s Robert Penney has taken the challenge to re-image the game into an 8-bit model. He describes it as, “a retro re-imaging with blocky pixels” More »

Mickey Mouse is over 80 years old and you can bet his look has changed quite a few times over the years. So when Disney decides to release an epic video game called Epic Mickey (available now for the Wii), it’s no surprise that they’d mash up all the different graphic styles Mickey Mouse has seen in his lifetime, well, epically. You can see just how they accomplish this feat in the new trailer “Designing the World,” below! More »

Okay, so on World of Warcraft: Cataclysm I managed to grow a level and a half (now level 12) in the past 2-3 hours. Cataclysm has gotten a little lonely now that I’ve left the home island to the greater continent of Kalimdor. (Side tangent– Kalimdor is a recognised word on Wordpress! Except “recognised” isn’t. How amusing). Anyways, the quests are still the main source of leveling up, as always since WoW is not a grinder. More »
