The 2nd generation of handhelds is coming soon. It’s been a long time, but Nintendo has finally announced the release date and price for the 3DS. It’s coming in March 2011 for sure, for both North America and Japan.
The 3DS will be hitting shelves on March 27th, priced at $249.99, which was roughly the cost of my Wii bundle a few years back. The direct yen conversion actually makes it $300 so it’s also much cheaper to buy the American release. (The 3DS is still region locked though.)
