Sony have informed developers of a new feature for the Playstation 3. That is that you will soon have the ability to save games in the cloud. With cloud storage, rather than keeping all your data onto a hard drive, you will be able to upload your saves remotely to a server.

Not only will it save space on your hard drive, it is also tied to a Playstation Network account. Rumors first began in 2009. And the process will be given the name “Online Saving” and will made as part of PS3’s upcoming 3.60 firmware update.
