Grab your cue stick and chalk it up for this new Billiards flash game: Mission 9 Ball! Like a typical pool game, you use your mouse to position your cue stick behind the white cue ball. The white line shows the path of the cue ball and the green line shows the path of the ball that the cue ball will knock into. Line up the green line with a hole and you’re good to go! Just make sure you complete the mission (details of which are shown before you start) before your lives are gone (you lose one when you don’t hit any balls) and don’t let the cue ball into any holes.

Review Guide

I figured all billiards flash games were the same, which is good because I usually enjoy all of them, but Mission 9 Ball was too easy to enjoy, in my opinion. The game would’ve been much more fun and challenging if the lines showing the paths of the cue ball and the next ball. In addition, the shop to buy more accurate or more powerful cue sticks seemed pretty useless to me. I’m everyone knows that the accuracy and power of a hit depends on the person, not the stick, until you get to the professional levels, which I am positive this flash game could not possibly simulate. The most frustrating part, however, was that I couldn’t stop the game and go back to the main menu unless I lost all of my lives, which takes a long time because I always had to wait for all of the balls to stop rolling so I could make my next move. I hoped freestyle mode would be a little better, but it was normal billiards with only one player. I don’t know about you, but I would much rather do something else than play pool by myself.

I suppose the easiness of the game would be preferable for people who have never seen a billiards flash game before, and at least you can toggle the sounds whenever you want. But other than that, I can’t think of any redeeming features of the game.

To sum it up, this is the worst billiards flash game I have ever played and I wouldn’t recommend it unless all the other games crash. Still want to give it a shot? You can try it here for free.
