Otome games are a popular gaming genre in Japan. One example of this is the Tokimeki Memorial series. Believe it or not, there are more Tokimeki titles in the series than Halo and Gears of War combined. It is not common to see foreign developers attempt this particular genre though. Of course though, Love & Order is an exception to the rule.

Love & Order, by Christine Love, is set in the crown prosecutor’s office of Montreal. In the storyline, Love & Order choosers between four different suitors, solving a mystery and balancing her work and social life on her way. You really do get the sense that the anime art style and generic music fit in with the genre conventions.
