A release date has now been set for the third instalment in the Gears of Wars series. This game will be released worldwide on September 20th this year. It is an Xbox 360 exclusive, and will feature the usual protagonist Marcus Fenix and his Delta Squad, in their aims to defeat their nemesis, the Locusts, and Lambent, a new enemy. More »

DICE has already revealed Battlefield 3 with a cinematic trailer and a couple details. The first in-game trailer has now been issued, unveiling the new engine, Frostbite 2, in action. It has announced that pre-orders for Battlefield 3 will net players to the ‘Back to Karkand’ “digital expansion pack” for free. The exclusive pack, to be sold separately after the launch, includes re-imaginings of four classic Battlefield 2 maps with weapons, vehicles, and more. Yikes, sorry for the drawback– had to restart Trinity: Souls of Zill O’ll over because of a corrupt save file. (Although that doesn’t seem to be a bug for the game, unlike Castlevania last year).
