Well, with the new game, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City in the making under Slant Six Games (developer of SOCOM franchise), Capcom (or I guess, Slant Six Games) has released a new image for all of us fellow fans to see. Is that the demise of Leon S. Kennedy I see?

I see his beautiful bangs in the air on the bottom as they gracefully give themselves to gravity as Vector (the guy with the knife) stabs him. Artistically blurred too.

Operation Raccoon City is to take place between Resident Evil 2 (in which case, Leon was the star of), and Resident Evil 3. Note that Leon was also the main character of Resident Evil 4 (which was a sequel), so it’s quite strange that Capcom has allowed the death of Leon to be an option.

I personally don’t believe that Leon can die, because if you’ve played Resident Evil 4, this guy has survived the worst of the worst crap there is. Everything from blasted by a shotgun to getting his body pulled apart. Seriously. I don’t believe he’s going to die.

OMG! I saw the trailer for this game on Resident Evil 4! It looked so high-graphic, I thought it was a movie, lol!
