Gamers may have something big to anticipate for this June because according to Game Informer, we can expect a new HD console from Nintendo at this year’s E3. It might also include “the initial announcement possibly coming sooner about the Wii successsor.”
Sources report that this console will be capable of displaying game-play in high-definition. We’ve yet to discover if the device will be associated much with the Wii system.
Another thing that we’re not sure of yet would be if this console will stand a chance against the big dogs, being the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Nintendo’s hope for this new system, would be for it to receive additional “multi-platform titles like Portal 2 or Mortal Kombat.”
It’s also been said that publishers have examined the system for game creations while we wait for the system’s release at the end of 2012. Game Informer has questioned the reps of Nintendo on this console but so far, “Nintendo does not comment on rumors or speculation.”
