We reported last week about a possible Wii 2 in the makings. Well, the new project, codenamed “Project Cafe” is all about this not-so-secret-anymore Nintendo console.
It’s speculated that the console will make its debut at the E3 this year and that it will feature a built-in high-resolution screen. The architecture and design is similar to that of the Xbox 360 but claims that it’s more powerful.
The project will also include backwards game compatibility with both the Wii and GameCube games. The controller will have a six-inch touch screen, a front-facing camera, D-Pad, two bumpers, two triggers and “possibly more” with a possible Wii sensor bar.
First console will be released in late 2012.
