Zombies are sort of the stereotypical game characters, posing threatening, scary characteristics. But for example, in Resident Evil, you’d really wish that you’d forgot the whole scenario. That guy that you saw round the corner was not worth approaching at all.

So, let’s round up the five greatest zombies in video games….

5. Michael LeRoi (Shadow Man)

It’s rather fading away eventually, but there was a time when Acclaim didn’t always make vile games. Turok, Extreme-G, Burnout, and The South Park FPS all proved that hope was still in the hands of Acclaim’s vaults.

4. Captain Le Chuck (Monkey Island 2)

LeChuck doesn’t really need an introduction. Because seriously you’d already know him as one of the best zombies around? He assaulted Threepwood constantly with his little magic doll. That really was a great plot.

3. Scorpion (Mortal Kombat)

Technically a Revenant, which is a magical super Zombie. He’s capable of some astonishing magic. And it’s probably the most popular undead guy from the series.

2. Stubbs (Stubbs the Zombie)

Stubbs is Romero-breed’s zombie version, and is unquantifiable. You’ll have to watch out for him. No mutation or enlargening is involved, so he is quite a special zombie.

1. Commander Shepard (Mass Effect 2)

He dies at the beginning of Mass Effect 2, but is resurrected two years later. But he was actually dead dead. And it was not expected at all, so Shepard is quite a jerk.
