Thanks to the PSN outage, Sony has been scrambling to fix its services and hopefully get some of it back up and running by May 3rd. They want to ensure that operations are only restored when the network is secure.
After discovering how severe the breach was, Sony shut down the entire PlayStation Network. But much damage had been done as millions of PS users were affected by this hack. Gamers have been unable to play their games online and some games are completely unplayable at this time. If restored, the PSN will have been down for two weeks.
Sony has vowed to find the one responsible and will make the PSN better protected by enhancing security and moving the network infrastructure and data centre to a place more secure. It will also have users change their passwords upon log-in.

That’s nice but Sony still has a lot work to do after the security breach. Thanks for sharing! I think users will be hesitate to use it now.
