Strong hints have been dropped by the voice of Modern Warfare 2’s Ghost that the next instalment in the series will be announced this month. Even closer is that it’s possibly in the next week too. Craig Fairbrass, who provided the voice for both Modern Warfare Games, responded to talkSPORT’s questions of his Call of Duty work.

His reply was “I did Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as Gaz and then I did Ghost in Modern Warfare 2, which has become one of the most iconic figures in the history of computer games, which is great. And I’ve just been out in LA doing something that’s going to be announced in May… I’ve just been out there doing some bits and pieces and one of it’s to do with… I can’t say too much.”

This comes at the same time Activision’s imminent first quarter 2011 financial results comes to light. Black Ops’ second DLC has also just been released, the Escalation Map Pack.
