Hey WoWers, you know that strange little mini-pet? You know, the one that looks it’s a mix between an eagle, horse, and reindeer and looks just a little adorable? Yeah, that one! Oh, it’s also the one featured in the picture above. Get that adorable little one as a companion and you’ll help out with the Japanese recovery efforts!

Yes, efforts towards the Japanese relief are still going on. Many have come together to support wondrous causes for this effort and now, Blizzard can proudly say it was part of the many who came to Japan’s aid, albeit a little late.

The mini-pet is known as the Cenarion Hatchling and is the mini-me of hippogryphs (nah, not like Buckbeak the hippogriff). It costs $10 but will be available to all characters. And best part? All proceeds will go towards the Red Cross. Cool!
