EA have just strongly denied any involvement in the internal software development of the supposed Xbox 360 successor. Last Friday, a report came in that EA has been given the kit by Microsoft inside a PC shell.

But Jeff Brown, EA spokesperson, that it’s “100 percent not true”. Develop reported that “a senior, trusted, well-[;aced” source saud is was working with a “very early build” of the console with “no casing”.

They also claimed that a 2012 launch for the new console was being pushed ahead by Microsoft. Of course though, these claims have been rubbished by Microsoft.
