At E3 last year, Metal Gear Solid 3DS was present, but only as an interactive, non-playable video. Only the view on the camera could be controlled though. But this year, the game will be released and fully playable.

A picture of it was shared by creator Hideo Kojima, where it is running on a 3DS. Map data is evidently displayed on the lower screen, with weapons that can be switched between without having to pull up a separate menu.

Kojima noted, “I at last crossed the suspension bridge using the gyro controls,” which seems to hint either at an alternate tilt control option or certain set pieces in the game that will make clever use of the tilt functionality on a case-by-case basis.

What do you think about it?
