With the PlayStation Vita announcements, Sony has not mention any word about which region (or regions) would get the handheld before 2011 is over. A UK retailer, ShopTo.net, is confident that Europe will be one of them.

So sure that they have posted a preorder listing for the portable console with a release date of November 4, one that they claim is “from Sony.” If that wasn’t enough, they’ve even given a list of potential (but unlikely) list of Vita launch titles, like Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Bioshock, LittleBigPlanet, Killzone, Resistance, Ruin, Modnation Racers and Street Fighter X Tekken - all boasting an available preorder and Nov. 4 release date.

The suggested prices are listed as £229.00 ($370 USD) for the Wi-Fi version and £279.99 ($451) for the 3G. The games are listed at £39.99 ($65).

[Note: The US price has been announced as $250 (Wi-Fi) and $300 (3G).]

Upon trying to get official confirmation, GameSpot UK reports that Sony says that “no one has communicated any release dates to retail partners. That date is not official as we [Sony Computer Entertainment UK] haven’t announced anything yet.

Maybe they’re just trying to draw business or it’s possible that the date is real and they’ve let it slip accidentally. Either way, we still have to wait for Sony’s official word to believe anything.
