That’s right! After an earlier announcement that it was still unknown when Japan would get their PlayStation Network back online, an official announcement has stated that everything will be fully restored this week on Wednesday, July 6.

I’m guessing that the additional security features have all been figured out and situated enough to satisfy the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, who had requested that Sony implement them to make sure that another downtime and hack doesn’t happen again.

Woo! It took long enough and I’m sure that there’ll be a lot of people who will be happy for this news, especially the gamers in Japan.
