Recently, it was announced that Nintendo made a significant price cut off the Nintendo 3DS.

The amount slashed off of the price was $80, less than six months after its initial release. Company president Satoru Iwata revealed the reasoning behind this move. He said that the decision to cut the 3DS price was based largely on the lessons learned from the company’s GameCube console during the last generation.

It also was explained that since the company is doing well from the profit it has been making huge profit from Wii console and DS portable, it can afford to take a couple risks.

Hmm, with this price cut do you see yourself inclined to buy a new 3DS?
