There are always those epic games which we can play over and over again such as Legend of Zelda and Starfox 5, however there is always that one character in most of these games which we think to ourselves: “Why put them in here? They are annoying!” Well I’ve come up with a list of 10 of those such types in this list of the most annoying game characters!

First up is Peppy from Starfox 5, throughout all the levels he is always shouting “Do a barrel roll!” or “Do a summersault!” Even though it’s not even needed he just shouts it over and over again, he doesn’t really say anything else apart from those lines!

For anyone who plays Minecraft I’m sure you will agree that the Creeper is one of the most annoying enemies in the whole game, they blow your houses, mines or anything you have created up, and they can easily kill you too! They also appear out of nowhere, it’s annoying since normally you can hear the others such as the zombies unlike this guy, he sneaks up on you and instantly you are stuck in a crater which this annoying green thing has created!

Of course this is probably the most known of the annoying game characters of all time. It’s non-other than Navi from Zelda the Ocarina of Time. This annoying little fairy follows you everywhere shouting ‘Hello, hey link, listen watch out” in a annoying high pitch tone which you which you could mute! I love the game, it’s one of my favorites however, Navi on the other hand, I wish I could hit her with a boomerang and lock her in a bottle for the whole game.

Next up is Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 2 (not Metal Gear Solid 4) Only in this game did he annoy me, and I’m sure most Solid Snake lovers will agree. I brought this game thinking I would have many hours sneaking around playing as Solid Snake. However, I was wrong, instead we had around a hour with Snake then the rest of the game? We were stuck playing as the rookie Raiden, we did see Snake, but we weren’t playing as him. Although Raiden did improve in Metal Gear Solid 4.

The most useless Pokemon of all time? Well this is would have to go to Magikarp, until he evolves into Gyarados at level 20 he is completely useless. All he can do is splash… splash and well I think you already know what else he can’t do. I remember trying to level up this annoying fish for around 4 hours and still from level 7 didn’t get very far at all. This water type Pokemon was one of the ones I would avoid, unless you put it in the day nursery to let it level up without your help.

Daxter, from the game series Jak & Daxter (which from the 2nd game on was just known as Jak) was once normal, until he stupidly fell into some dark eco and changed into a annoying little rat. He sits on Jak’s shoulder shouting stuff out, now and then you got to play as him, but I still found him highly annoying. I did find him cute at first, but then the hate kicked in. He’s one of those characters which tries to be funny, but really isn’t.

The consciences from Black & White, this PC game was one of my all time favorites, many hours pretending to be a God and rule my own cities kept me amused for years, and still does.. However, one thing ruins it for me, those two annoying consciences floating up by my screen, blocking my view and chatting about things I don’t care about. Ok sometimes they did tell me useful things but when I wanted to do my own thing and the good consciences kept telling me to “Click on the gold scroll leader” I did start getting annoyed. Although when they fought against each other it was kind of funny.

Birdo from Super Mario, first thing, is Birdo a boy or is it a girl? Well the answer is.. Birdo is a boy, a boy with a bright pink bow on his head shooting out eggs from his mouth. Confused? Yeah so was I. I loved Birdo at first but then he started to bug me, I don’t know why but this little pink thing started to be everywhere, in all the games, in every end level of a few Mario games and then even in the sporting games. In some he actually spoke… with a girls voice and some times he would just make this weird sound which sounded like one of those hooter things you get in party kits.

Most of us have played The Sims at some point in our lives and of course there is nothing more annoying then when you forget to check for bills and the Repo man shows up at your door with his magical ray-gun taking away your stuff. This happened to me so many times, and he just won’t go away. Some how he always manages to take away my giant wall TV and run off with it. Next time I’ll remember to pay the bills.

Last of all Seymour from Final Fantasy X, this guy doesn’t seem to want to die. First of all he wants to be friends with the humans, which is understandable, then he pushes it a bit more and decides he is going to marry Yuna, who is suppose to be saving the world from Sin. Before you know it you annoy the guy and all hell breaks loose and he just will not go away. You think every time it might be the last battle but no, he is always there waiting around the corner for you.
