Blockbuster UK has revealed (complete with its logo and the co.uk extension) that the PlayStation Vita will supposedly launch in the UK on October 28th, just three days away from Halloween. This announcement, however, does add up quite nicely with Sony’s proposed “end of 2011″ launch window. Of course, nothing has been officially confirmed but it’d be a nice treat! Talk about getting straight to the juicy part! For those who have watched the Bleach anime, the game starts off when (spoilers!) Orihime gets snatched away by Aizen and you’re on the way to rescue her. The game actually looks pretty interesting, though, if you have watched the anime, these few minutes come as no surprise to you. A screening of Soul Calibur V revealed the new 3 characters and their combat abilities. In addition, we revisit those of Siegfried, Mitsurugi, and Ivy. The three new characters, Zwei, Patroklos, and Natus, all have unique abilities, besides hacking and slashing with their weapons. It seems that Soul Calibur V will be experimenting with elemental effects (as Seigfried has a new ability to strike with ice) and more stranger weapons (as Zwei seems to conjure something in combat during some moves). Yoshinori Ono, series producer of Street Figther recently revealed key hints about who is in and who is out of Street Fighter X Tekken’s final character roster. While talking to Siliconera, Ono stated that Dan Hibiki wouldn’t be in the final roster. The reason was so odd but I guess it makes sense because this is a game. The reason was that “he was killed by a Tekken character at Comic-Con last year.” More »

Rare plans to embrace the uprising trend by using Kinect in their games because the population this day is not as entertained with basic configurations as they once were.
